Please note: While our message is ultimately one of great hope, this class does address mature/adult topics including mental health issues, suicide, racism, and police violence. Be mindful before watching. Thank you.
- First 8-ish minutes: Settling in, welcome, everyone shares where they’re from and what they hope to learn.
- 8 minutes and 50 seconds: Okay! Class officially begins!
- 1 hour, 17 minutes: We pause to honor the lives of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Dominique Clayton, Bettie Jones, Walter Scott, and thousands of other Black people who have died because of senseless race-motivated violence, and we take 1 minute of silence.
This book includes 30 small action steps that make a big difference. We worked with a diverse group of friends to collect input and make this book as powerful and inclusive as possible. It’s not “perfect” and it’s not “everything,” but it’s a start.
